How it works

From quote to cleanup, we keep it simple.

No hard sells, no vague estimates, no mess left behind. Here's exactly what happens when you book tree work with Summit.

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Call, or send photos through the quote form. A couple of phone photos of the tree and the access is usually all we need. Storm emergencies jump the queue, day or night.

  2. 02

    Free quote

We assess the tree, the access and the risks, then give you a clear fixed price. If council approval applies to your tree, we'll flag it before anything is booked.

  3. 03

    The work

Our qualified crew arrives on time with the right equipment for your site. Every job is planned before the first cut, and your property is protected throughout.

  4. 04

    Full cleanup

Green waste chipped and removed or left as free mulch, timber cut to your liking, and the site raked and blown down before we leave.

What to expect on the day.

The crew will walk the job with you before starting so you know exactly what's coming down and what's staying. If you can't be home, that's fine too, we'll confirm everything by phone and send photos when the job is done.

  • Access: please have cars out of the driveway and gates unlocked. Our machines fit through a standard gate.
  • Pets and kids: keep them inside while we're working. Falling timber and chippers don't share the yard well.
  • Pool and gardens: tell us what you're precious about and we'll protect it or work around it.
  • Payment: on completion once you've walked the job and you're happy.

Booking lead times.

Standard work is usually booked within a week or two depending on the season. Storm and emergency make-safe work is around the clock, whenever you need it.
