Sunshine Coast

Palms removed cleanly, even over the house.

Cocos palms, golden canes and towering Alexandras. We climb them, take them down in sections and leave the yard spotless.

Why palms are their own job.

Palms grow tall, skinny and heavy at the top, often in the worst possible spot, right beside the house or hanging over the pool. They can't be felled like a normal tree, so we climb or crane them and lower the head and trunk sections under control.

Cocos palms in particular are a constant maintenance headache: dropping fronds, seed bombs that sprout everywhere and rats nesting in the crown. Most of the palm work we do on the Coast is getting rid of them for good.

What's included

  • Complete removal of any palm, any height, any access.
  • Frond and seed cleanup so nothing is left to sprout.
  • Stump grinding available so you can plant or turf over the spot.
  • Multi-palm discounts: doing a row of them at once is far cheaper per tree.

Palm cleaning too.

Want to keep the palm but lose the mess? We also de-nut and clean palms, removing dead fronds and seed pods so they look sharp and stop dropping debris.

Good to know

Common questions.

Do palms need council approval to remove?

Cocos palms and golden canes are exotic species and generally exempt from vegetation protection on the Sunshine Coast, so most palm removals can go ahead without approval. Native palms can be different. We'll confirm for your address when we quote.

Can you remove palms in tight spots?

Yes. Palms squeezed between the house and the fence are the classic job. We climb, dismantle in short sections and lower everything on ropes.

Will you take the palm stump too?

We can grind palm stumps below ground level so you can turf, garden or pave straight over the top. Just ask for it in the quote.
